Parents, send your kids to a school that, you know, has other people in it. While you provide them with crucial Bee-keeping skills by drilling into their heads esoteric words in between bouts of Chinese Dynasty flash cards, you evidently deprive them of all means of human interaction.

Even though he’s hung up his cleats, Jerome Bettis is still a very rotund man. As such, it’s only appropriate that he decided to open a restaurant in Pittsburgh. The eatery, dubbed Grille 36, is obviously a reference to Bettis’ jersey number and oddly enough, the margin of victory he had in a recent Chocodile eating contest with Kimo von Oelhoffen (if I spelled that right, I’d be god damn amazed, I know spellcheck hates it. Huh. Spellcheck hates spellcheck. We are through the looking glass.)
In a relatively tame “celebrity enters into business venture” story, here’s an interesting tidbit on the VIPs present at the opening:
Tuesday’s guests included Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward, former Steelers Kordell Stewart and Mike Logan, Steelers President Art Rooney II and former Titans running back Eddie George.
I can only assume “Slash” was back to his form, taking orders AND busing his own table!
Oh, and spellcheck hates Kordell, as well. But who doesn’t?
